Day of the Dead

One of the most special days for Mexico and many parts of Latin America is coming. A day we hold very dearly in our hearts as it also marks our 8th Anniversary

The party begins! The doors are open to all worlds, the living, the dead, and the undead!

Eight years of Vamos! 🎉We hope you can come to celebrate with us…

Nothing makes us prouder than to see how Australia is increasingly incorporating The Day of the Dead into its life.  Year after year we see a growing interest in joining this celebration.  After all, it is only logical since this holiday is born out of syncretism, that is, the amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought.

In this particular case, we observe the union of pre-Hispanic cultures -such a Mexica and Aztec polytheism- and Iberian pagan and Christian practices.

On the 1st and 2nd of November, it’s believed that the door between the world of the living and the dead is opened, allowing our loved ones to return for a night to dine with us, wear their favourite clothes, and enjoy their favourite belongings when they were alive.
November 1st is dedicated to children and November 2nd is to adults.

On the 29th we will be placing an ‘ofrenda’.  DJs will be playing for us to dance to life and death! Face painting to mix yourself with the undead and a price to the most original and spookiest costume.

For the rest of the month, happy hour will be offered from 6 p.m to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
