Vamos started in the Melbourne CBD with a simple conviction: a great meal should feel like a celebration. The name itself says it all. "Vamos" is an invitation, a call to go, to gather, to begin something together.
Vamos has since moved to Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, a street that matches its energy exactly. Vamos brings the warmth, colour, and abundance of Latin American hospitality to one of Melbourne's most vibrant dining neighbourhoods. The address has changed. The spirit has not.

Vamos draws every dish from the street kitchens, coastal cevicherias, and family tables of Spain and Latin America. Vamos serves tapas rooted in Spanish tradition, tacos built on slow-cooked fillings and fresh salsas, and banquet spreads designed for groups who want to go all in.

Vamos pairs food with live performance every Friday and Saturday night. Vamos has hosted flamenco guitarists, Brazilian jazz ensembles, Cuban son trios, and Latin fusion acts that keep the room moving until the last plate is cleared.
Vamos does not treat music as background. The performers Vamos books are artists who bring the same passion to the stage as the kitchen brings to the plate. On a Friday or Saturday night at Vamos, the whole room is part of the experience.
